It all started when Evil Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt wanted to rule the universe. So, he had one of her evil minions create it for her, even though it... really doesn't fit her at all. Anyway, after someone messed up the delivery, it plummeted to Earth and fell directly onto me.

Thus, Earthworm Jim was truly born! Otherwise before that, I was just Jim.

That was the reasoning that they had given me. For what it's worth, I'm relieved. I was certain that I was going to mess up badly and let some kind of villain destroy the universe before that could happen.
