[What IS this place? It doesn't look like anywhere Jaime would've talked about - and Milagro remembered all of the crazy places her older brother mentioned at the dinner table. Double-checking her stuff, she then took a deep breath and started to explore the area.

She's everywhere: the arcade, the shops, even the rooms if she can get the doors open! Mila's a girl on a mission, and she won't rest until she goes home with her big bro.]

[Finding family members is much easier when you have DNA tracking technology fused into your spine. Jaime had blasted off the second Khaji Da informed him of his sister's presence. Milagro's here, and safe! This is great! And horrible! And wonderful! And a disaster! And why does she keep moving, you're supposed to stay put when you're lost--Oh, there she is.

Swooping in, he gathers her up in his arms as gently as possible and flies them both above the crowd of other refugees and aliens.]
Milagro! What are you doing here? Space is- is dangerous, you could get abducted! Or attacked! Or hit by a car!
[Like, a space car...]
You're O.K. right? You're not hurt?

[Oh thank goodness! Mila wasn't too sure what she'd do if Jaime hadn't actually been here. She clings to him tightly and hugs him with all of her might.]

Hermano! I'm glad you found me.

[Wait. Did he just... say she'd get hit by a...? Really, Jaime? Really?]

... But I really doubt I'd get hit by a car.

Heh, twerp. [He mutters affectionately as he hugs back. He'd been beside himself with relief to see she was safe. But he really doesn't want Milagro to know how scared he'd been when he first got here alone. After all, he has to be the calm, superheroic big brother. Act cool.]

Hey, aliens drive cars too. Isn't that right, scarab?

[She rolls her eyes, and not in the good way either.] Fiiiiine. If there are weird space cars here, I promise I'll look both ways before crossing the street.

I think they're more like really big hallways, but anyway-- [He lands, setting her down now that the area's not too crowded. In seconds, the armor retracts and leaves plain old Jaime.]
You sure you're all right, Milagro? Mom would kill me if I let you get into trouble in deep space.

I promise, I'm fine! [That was said a little too harshly, even for Milagro, so she just lamely attaches herself to his arm.]

Some of the people here look funny, so I didn't talk to them, but it's not bad if it's supposed to be a Star Trek spaceship.

[Oh look, someone tiny and adorable running around on her own. Cassie is helping herself to some ice cream at one of the shops when she sees her go scurrying by.

Tracks her down before she gets too far away.]

Hi there! Are you looking for someone? You shouldn't be wandering around on your own.

[Thankfully, the sight of ice cream halts Milagro long enough to stare up at Cassie. Whoa, is that... Wonder Girl?]

Um, yeah, I am. [quietly:] You're Wonder Girl, right? Do you know the Blue Beetle?

Oh, oh! I know who you are, you're his--[Slaps a hand over her mouth. She knows that Jaime wouldn't appreciate her broadcasting that everywhere.]

I am, the two of us are on the Team together. If you're looking for him, I can help you find him.

Really? Thank you sososo much! [She grins, holding up her arms so that Cassie can carry her.]

... Could we also find my apprentice? He's the one babysitting me today.

[Scoops her up in one of her arms easily and smiles brightly at her.]

Sure! What does he look like?

He's big, he's got red hair, he wears lots of green... Oh! And he's got one of those Green Lantern rings. [She grins, indicating the finger on her hand.]

You know Mr. Gardner, right? I think everyone does.

[Laughs and nods her head.] Oh yeah, everyone who knows who he is. I can't believe he lost sight of you!

Or maybe I can. [Now that she knows who has been looking after her, figure she's probably been flying before. Leaps up into the air and begins to float up into the sky.]

Well, it was before I got onto the Loki...

[She squeals eagerly the minute Cassie's in the air, and clings juuust a little bit tighter. It's not quite like flying with Jaime (or Guy) but it's just as enjoyable.] So he might still be back on Earth. But Jaime's here! I saw him like, a lot.

Ooh, okay.

[Smiles at her excitement and begins to fly even faster but she's still going slower than she normally would, since she has a kidlet on board.]

Mhm! The two of us were searching for people earlier, it's so exciting to meet all these new and different people.

Did you find anyone from our place? [Clearly, she has priorities.] I haven't seen Batman or Superman yet, but I think I saw Robin somewhere.
